OK, 1st of all... i wont be bias against good or bad on this game, either its fun for you or not is up to your choice and please... NO COMPLAINS (i noe i wan to but URGH screw IW)

lets look up upon the graphics for this game, still nice and good stunning looking from COD4 with some minor improvements next, controls... apparently they took off lean left and right with the key "q" and "e" and replace with Special nades and something else i cant remembered.. quite a bad move since most of us in PC need the lean so our head is not so obvious...

Another thing would be the package, those getting the normal editions (i believe most), the box is cool with nice design so is the way how the cd is designed, but the turn off here is the manual is only 4 pages long and the rest is warrenty and other blah blah blah... so i would give a really bad negative to the IW for having a not so good manual which is not of a total help to those who just 1st started.. (even my friend goes with a WTF look after looking at the manual)

ok lets keep things going, lets look at some changes from COD4

-The story looks a lot more fun and interesting but the feeling is too short, COD4 can be completed within a day and this, does under 6 hours...
-Co-op, only HEARD of a 4 different modes and total of 64 mission...
-Multiplayer - the most arugement of all in PC vs IW (i will talk about it later)
-Some weapons have been removed in this series from COD4, MP5 is one of them
-Perks have changed alot and it does not feel that nice totally.. a total of 4 to 5 selection from 3 perks... a total of around 15 perks and they can be leveled up..
-Multiplayer seems alot more fast pace compared to the usual in COD4 and IMO its like the pace of COD4 MP : promod (its a mod in COD4 and used for competitions)
-There is still quite a few bugs here and there, one of them is changing resolution will cause the game to crash and quite a few other bugs (hopefully its fixed by IW else its screwed)
-You need STEAM to play MW2, and you cant play if STEAM is screwed for maintaince even if it is not maintaining MW2 not to mention you also cant play single player.

okies, heres what are my opinions for COD6...

For SP and Co-op mode, i believe you will get hell loads of fun with the story and stuffs and i love it a lot seriously It has the great story and easy to find your way to the goal too.. For this i would give a plus point for MW2 for its good storyline and cool movements.

For Multiplayer, i will say the same things as most other reviews would.
1st, THERE IS NO and NOT EVEN A SINGLE DELICATED SERVER!!! I am totally disappointed with IW for removing it and making us use IWnet which is less trouble to use, more troubles in finding games, community, better host..
2nd, the cheats like aimbot are still being bypassing, lucky i haven met one in local yet or near us yet... but you bet it will be flooded in US...
3rd, the MP maps are not all very big and max is 9v9 which i still do find it quite little.. other may seem ok but i do feel they still do need some a little bigger maps to go a total for 15v15..
4th, the killing and death streaks... i don know what with IW but if they try using ideas from other mods and pump in, its really going out of their way... a few is fine.. but i saw at least a total of almost 20 different kinds of killing streaks but you can only use 3 at a time.

The good point are,
1st, a very fast paced and interesting game to play together with a group of friends where you can invite friend into your party and play under the same team.. (and yes this is the most useful thing since IWnet dont wan to let you down without servers)
2nd, you get to mute the players esp kids who keep whining on the mic even in lobby
3rd, the maps are quite nicely done and looks well balanced
4th, if the host is local.. its good ping man.. i haven seen really much bad in local host till the point i could not even shoot him properly... meaning the ping muz be somewhere under 50ms i believe...

so here are all my thoughts and reviews... if you think the $70+ is well spent, go ahead and buy and enjoy, else for those who decided to give it a miss, its time to search for other games maybe like L4D2 and not waiting for MW3... (MW3 its a more realistic game and i got a feeling its moving out of its own fun)

as for the ratings..
For SP... 9.5/10 for its great job well done on the story
For MP... 6.5/10, it is enjoyable and fun but i would like the delicated servers for the PC community seriously...

i can say tis game got Pros and Cons.. Story Mode too short.. within 1 days can completed. Pro, nice gfx.. everything is like real life.. hiding, ducking all tat is a must lol! if not u been shot

There's no Call Of Duty 5 or 6.

I think Arma2 and OPDR is much more life-like. Problem with Arma2 is that there are too many buttons for too many functions in-game. For OPDR, it suffer from the same problem as COD:MW2 - both games have connectivity issues in MP mode. Yes, there can be a local dedicated community to host the game to elimate lag for local player as in the case of MW2. But whats the point then if i can only compete/play with local players? A huge chunk of fun is eroded away simply by the lack of international players in MP mode.

Don't wanna rain on their parade, but I feel the single player has been overly hyped.

1) I mostly love to play games for the story. The only thing about MW2 compared to MW1, the story is longer and has more potential. The way in which the story is relayed to the player is disappointing (it makes you pause and wonder what the hell is going on?)

2) In terms of game play, no change in style or engine at all. The only difference in the campaign now is, you get swarmed with enemies. Take cover or Take bullets from 360 degrees around you, did I mention RPGs? In a way this is fun and challenging, but when I look back to MW1, there's almost no difference. So people are expected to pay $80 for extra maps.

3) About weapons. Except new fancy weapons that give you a bit of advantage in stealth with some heart-rate-o-meter, there's almost nothing new. Once again, $80 for extra maps.

Feeding on the successful franchise, Infinity ward did nothing to make the new game play new. They made multiplayer worse, which in my opinion was the height of the fun in MW1. The days we had 16 V 16 (without cheaters i might add) going headlog against each other with grenade launchers, air support, UAVs.... Those days are gone.

For all the above, and a complacent raise in price, I think this game deserves no credit. Those reviewers that gave MW2 thumbs up were probably offered free samples of it.
