It appears that Vr-Zone admins/mods are starting to lock threads by dealers and asking for a sum of token in return for advertising in their forum.

Is the economy so bad that Vr-Zone have to resort to this to generate revenue?

I hereby invite all dealers to come in and share their views.

yes. just started i think. saw the threads of Cyh866, ricos88, carbonash locked this morning. i think more will soon be locked.

yes. you look at the threads at 9am this morning. most dealers threads are locked.

i think i know why leh. maybe cos they dont put it as 1 thread. carbonash is like putting alot of threads and it waste bandwidth everytime he ups all his threads. frenchmaid and jaidev got locked anot?

IMO, that's not the case. seems like Vr-Zone is trying to collect some adverts fee through this forum

but never lag much as hwz.... maybe the admin know about this and take advantage le ma...

I would think that no businesses comes free in this world. It's all an exchange of certain sorts be it money or favours or referals. If the dealers are here to make some money, i don't see why the platform providers can't charge them a token for it.

this place is supposed to be a place where people who dont want to sell directly to middlemen. i'm sure dealers have much better sources of revenue to turn to compared to here. well, things are not always free. and i think it was mentioned that usage of this place for commercial purposes is a no-no. so for threads to be locked it isn't really much of a surprise.

if this place is flooded with dealers, we will unfortunately sell our stuffs to dealers at a lower price too. market rates control will all be influenced by them. no offence.

Just to let u guys know as i noticed under the rules n regulations that might be the reason for the removal of threads. The text are in red. I'm just a normal seller too but if im a dealer, of course i'll be mad as well but rules are rules u see... =/

I hope u dealers still can post though.. Otherwise still got ebay ma.. =D

if some MNC comes here and starts selling stuffs at great prices, making use of this forums as it's selling area, wouldn't it be reasonable?

dont tell me if you own a website, and some guy starts selling stuff in your website, you won't go thinking "hey, you're using my website and selling stuffs. in fact, you're advertising in my area. i should charge you some decent fee."

if you're benefitting from something, wont it be fair to share with others? esp with the one you're making use of, in this case VRZ as your medium for sales
