16/7/09: apparently just managed to contact his old colleagues back in Citibank. This person has a black record in the bank itself, went around borrowing money from colleagues and quit the job, went MIA. Anyone who still has his contact address, pls let me know to submit a Small Claim Tribunal report. I'm sure it will help a lot of people whom he borrowed cash from/others who are scammed.

Contacted Bryan Lim based on his post. Note that the first post in the original thread has been edited by him (fly kite after deposit). This is his reply to me:

transaction to be honest and no misunderstanding. Please make the
deposit asap, once you made the deposit, email me or call or me at

DHL. It will take about 2-3days to reach you. The camera will be
insured and shipping fare will be paid by me. it will be fair for you
and me.

Go to any Citibank depositing machine, click on cardless access,
choose on "checking account" and key in the account number as above.
After much nego, he decided to let me deposit just S$300.
Checked with Citibank, the account did belong to Bryan Lim, but he's overseas.
After depositing S$300, he gave me reference number and tracking number which were totally useless (can't be used for fedex/dhl at all). Called him many times since Thursday (2nd July '09), rejected all my calls, ignoring my SMS.
I went to police earlier, but as expected, the police are not willing to assist because:
1. He's Singaporean
2. Because of (1), it's considered Small Claim case; and Small Claim Tribunal will not be assisting unless i have the full address of the person (in Singapore).
I would appreciate if any one who knows this person could assist me in tracking down this person's address. Money lost is lost, but it's just getting ridiculous when you cannot get the person under law in Singapore, despite it being a crime of cheating.
