This person posted on Aug 23rd, 09, 09:18 AM for all the yellow cables and requested for post. Given to him my UOB account, told me using POSB cannot transfer and have to wait until Monday. Fine. After Wed, posted PM to him a few times no reply and I took the initiative to get my my colleague's POSB account and PM it to him. He finally replied on the Aug 27th, 09, 01:47 AM saying that will transfer to my colleague's account "tomorrow". Fine again, I replied to him to let me know his address after he has transferred the money.

Till date, 1st Sep, I have yet to get a reply from him and from his posts, I told myself he hasn't post anything since 25th Aug and I will wait till I see his "next post". And finally he posted on the 31st Aug 2009 and with his number (91839106) too trying to buy Lewistan's stuffs (how ironic...) I have also dug out his other number 98475479 and SMS to him but still no reply.

What should I do? Give a bad rating and repost the items? Continue to keep the item for him? Let me know what you guys think. Afterall, I'm still relatively new to this

PS: I hope this SHAMEENA can come in to clarify his own actions too, I see that he runs a repair business and wouldn't want to jeopardize his business if he is not what he seems like to me.

firstly, yes it is vexing to have ur buyer not reply, but i usually adopt a 'keen buyers first' attitude. not that who arrive 5mins earlier than the other gets it, but rather who is willing to commit and have a concrete transaction gets the deal.

2ndly, its not too ex (i think? not golden sata lol) so even more cause to adopt a relaxed attitude. hardsell will only give the seller higher blood pressure.

good things do happen, got 1 fellow forumer PMed me regarding a game 3 mths back and suddenly remembered he didnt deal. we finally did wasnt angry whatsoever because I know there are other things , bigger things than just waiting for deal.

of course, fraud and bad deals are a different case altogether.

i dont usually reserve items for a buyer unless he/she is really keen. i ever reserved casing for high rep guy but turn out same case as u, 2mths. that time i was real angry cos it was dusty and take up my room space

well actually you see, the thing is that I dont even know if I should keep it for him. We both agreed to a deal and If i still sell it now, will he come back and bad rate me? funny thing is PM don't reply, i can understand, SMS too? and he still can go bid on others items. That's where I draw the line..

@Thom, bro just find another buyer and sell. Don't hold it out for him. Find someone else to sell who is more sincere and won't give you the run around.
Sometimes, I send a sms deadline... "by this date you don't transfer $ item will be back on open market. Thank you"

Really, if he doesn't reply just forget it and sell someone else. If HE dares to take it up with you, be assured that the majority of the forums will be with you.

Finally, got a reply today Sep 11 from shameena "thanking" me for the negative feedback saying that he just got back from overseas.

already pm him to come here to clarify his actions, his MIA-ness to me while being able to bid for others items. will gladly ask mod to remove the -ve if given a valid explanation.

Even if the stuffs are worth only a few bucks. Before going overseas, he should at least spend 15 seconds sending a sms to the TS saying he can't buy the items now / want to delay or cancel the deal.

Just a sms and 15 seconds of his precious time - the TS can forget about his deal and sell to somebody else.

But obviously he couldn't be bothered to do this simple gesture.

I'm getting bored of the bullshit excuses.
some say very very busy at work, I don't know what sort of work the person do but simply put.

You meet someone for a deal but cannot make it because of a urgent meeting right now. You either try to send a sms to inform during the meeting or you take 30 seconds to leave the room, send the sms and re enter the meeting immediately.

You are meeting someone for a deal. You should inform to cancel the meetup rather than make the poor fellow wait 30min, 1hrs or longer for you.

If he spend that <10 seconds sending the sms. he will miss the plane...

similarly, there are some peoples very very busy with work/ no time to send a 10 seconds sms to cancel / postpone the deal.

well, i dont want to be disrespectful or anything, sorry for the loss of your mother and i will try to talk to a mod to remove the -ve. could have let me know the transaction will be delayed or canceled.
