This is how it started....

Kongque is selling his new N97 which he got it as a birthday gift --> WTS/WTT N97 For iphone GS

My colleague got his deal and met him yesterday night at Bishan.. Upon checking the phone, call timer stated 5hrs which obviously is a used phone.. He apologised and claimed that he is unaware that his friend had used it. The deal was not successful.

From the start, we have no intention to start this thread as my colleague believed that Kongque indeed is unaware that his friend used the phone. About to forget this incident until I saw Kongque thread again. I thought he would edit his post to indicate clearly it's an used phone but as you can see from his post, it is still very misleading by mentioning "Singtel NEW N97"....nothing on the call timer is highlighted which by now he should be fully aware of the 5hrs usage.

I purposely question on whether is the set brand new and any receipt given in his post (Just want to see what he say)... as expected he PM me and this is what he mentioned "Hi Pal, It New I never use before. Just on for a few touch after i got it as a gift. condition is 9.5/10 or 10/10 0.5 is bec of my trying touching. Black in color"

Needless to say, he is trying to twist here or there, in or out just to hope for someone who is ignorant and doesn't know how to check for call timer to buy it...

Lastly, his set is indeed in pristine condition..Can buy at a lower price if it's meant for own use

5hr is no way a new phone man.. haha.. doubt 16 trade rep seller don't know how to check on that?? anyway lifetimer can be reset (if you know how..) I also encounter with a seller (VRZ/ HWZ) claiming phone is new, gift from friend. willing to delivery all the way to you. check phone.. lifetimer is 0.. BUT.. original screen protect CHANGED.. worst still.. warranty date is AMENDED by written overlap the original date... of cos i denied the deal.. The fellow still got the chick TO ASK ME FOR PETROL $.. what a joke..

or timer is not 0 when it is brand new
or got hairline scratch
or got used mark etc2...

first, i need to apologist to the kind lady which make her way down for the interest, which also helped me to identify the phone.

And now back to this thread:

As mention to you,

It true that the hand set i never used before, and YOU had mention in your thread that i had replied you the condition is 9.5/10 or 10/10 due to touching but i never mention it brand new set. So please dont say im not honest, which i had already told you the condition of the phone, Which you cant understand my reply.

1)I had told you the condition is 9.5/10 or 10/10 due to touching. this you can check with her is the phone condition 9.5/10 or you can check yourself.

2)You never ask anything about timer or usage. Where your question was too general to ask izzit "brand new set", so what wrong with my reply to told u this is "new set" and even tell you the condition?

"New" bec of it "look and condition" these why condition 9.5/10 come in, If set is "brand new set" i will not take my time to reply u the condition is 9.5/10 or 10/10. Where i will claim this a "brand New set" instead.

3)Last question, you ask about receipt, which i missed, sorry for that. And you can check with your colleague before the deal was arranged in bishan I had clearly mention to her no receipt as it a gift but a unfill warranty will be provided and over the phone i had also told her no dealer Chop stamp when she asked me about the any warranty. But handset box printed a singtel set, which she had seen and prove too.(still carry her sms)

Last massage to you, please close this time wasting thread. If you can't understand my massage den too bad. O not to correct your mistake but keep my sale thread on going, i had removed the word of "New" in my thread. Dont wish to waste time on someone mistake and i need to correct for them.

New but not Brand new. Means the phone has been used. Maybe to check and have been more than certain period of days whereby you cannot say brand new. For example Bluetooth sets. Where the seller use it to test on some phones to check compatibiltiy.

Phones used is basically you know. The phone has been used and th elife timer more than like 1:00.

well exactly with 16 rep and still... if u r someone with 16rep.. I am sure you won't want to spoil your name by checking the phone (be it a gift or whatever) clearly before selling right??.. I had deal with few here with good rep.. but end up phone also like.. Is a total waste of time....
