Mobo/RAM Question NEWater Jan 21st, 07, 07:47 PM #1 (permalink)
Hullo,

Ran into a bit of a problem here. I'm looking to put together a new comp, and here's something I've been stumped at

The mobo says:

• Supports four unbuffered DIMM of 1.8 Volt DDRII SDRAM

And I'm looking at a Corsair ram @ http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair...8-8888C4DF.pdf that says it's 2.4V

Is this something I should be worried about?

What you have done...the PDF is actually in reference to a DDR1 which uses 2.4V+ which is not what your motherboard needs. What you need is DDR2 which are the RAMs stated within your motherboard manual.
