It is normal to use a 500W on a HTPC casing in the first place?

For HTPC, lower power the better... Less heat, thus less noise. Unless users have gamings in mind. High power PSU are required for demanding GFX, n' Hi performing cpu to buffer enough proccessing speed for games... HTPC is the other way round. A specific low noise, low power system is more appropriate.

Agreed on that pt. Was wondering why need so much power for HTPC.

its very different from the J&W board. type of rams used, the I/O placement and the quality of the board all varies.

the big shuriken, is it available in SLS? plus, does it fit SG06?

and.. if you use this, what kind of NB cooler can be used? it seems to be blocking the NB, haha.

imo,if shuriken can fit 64mm. big shuriken sure can (58mm)

Hi bro, can enlighten me how is the Minix's pcie crippled? U mean it doesn't work well with gfx card? I suppose it works fine...

btw, manufacture for this is ASL...

Primary function wise, yeah it's for SFF htpc, just like Minix... It's cheaper no doubt, but performance wise, I can't confirm yet.
