You've seen it in ATX, in micro ATX form and now it's time to admire Intel's P55 chipset powering a Mini ITX motherboard. The rather cute and compact model seen below is the MI P55-T36 made by DFI and it features a 6-phase PWM, support for Core i5/i7 LGA 1156 processors, the ABS II CPU auto upgrade technology, and two DDR3 memory slots.

The mini ITX board also boasts one PCI-Express x16 slot, one eSATA and three SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel integrated audio, a Clear CMOS button and a debug LED.

The MI P55-T36's pricing and release date are yet unknown.

Hi Everyone,

I am tempted to set up a low power File Storage + full HD HTPC.

Beside using Atom 330 + ION, Asus at $259...

1) How much is Zotac ION kit?

2) is there other Mini-ITX that is low power, support Full HD and value for $$$?

3) Is there any small form mini-ITX casing in SLS that can mount a 3.5" HDD, rather than 2.5" HDD?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, better ask from the proper distro channel first. It's always good to get local distro support first . High value toy, better have some warranty . Just abit worried about the casing selection. Now I only can think of Abee casing that can fit this monster board.
