Well my rig below which is on my sig, its 3yrs old so i decided to benchmark it and see what it could do on todays stuff but when i ran it it said only 1/4 tests were supported, the wings of fury one, than when it loaded the wings of fury before the test really begun my com just turned of..when booted back up it gave me the serious error thing, noticed my hdd was left with like 100meg so thought was something with that so i freed up space to about 500+megs and being an idiot ran the test again, and again it happent :wail:

I will attach the error report with the technical info in a screenshot here, whats causing this? Please help. Thanks =)

ya. 3Dmark03 isn't of any use .... my 128Mb MX440 only clocked in a 3 digit score of 03. However, can use 01Se .... gives a more accurate benchmark ... would like to compare the difference between your MX440 and mine. care to post pics later ? i'll do my benchmarking soon too =D . haha.

if still cannot ... try re-installing drivers.

Default settings ... this is what i acheived



After increasing the core clock and memory bit by bit and testing ... did it up to here. The next time i increased it crashed .. and i'm too lazy to re-test for the exact optimum settings. haha.

i would say for games nowadays, you must run 3dm03 and 3dm05 for a rough guide. 3DM01SE is too dx8.1 and nowadays games run @ dx9.

like 6600GT + P4 4GHz = 18.5k in 01
X800XT PE [close to twice as good] + P4 4GHz = 25k in 01.

however, 6600GT scores 7.8k at stock in 03 and 3.8k in 05 and X800XT PE scores 12.2k in 03 and 5.9k in 05.

The difference here is so big that running 3DMark01 would be a bit redundant to check how it would fare compared to other games.



for me, i would still run mx400 on 3dm03. but the stability issue is another thing.
