Card Reader - Elecom dr_disciple Oct 28th, 09, 05:18 AM #1 (permalink)
Always trust Elecom to come out with card readers that makes everyone wants one. I wonder how many of us stick our card reader to the side of the casing with blu-tac or double sided tape. Of course, Elecom has a more stylish solution, magnets under a card reader. Comes in 4 diff flavors.

Cost - S$40.00

Specs (after translation) -

● Equipped with a magnet on the bottom, and then fixed to the steel surface as is possible without inserting the media in one hand

● ● Round and cute design, offers two different series of compatible media

● ● 70cm Cable length is also fixed afford to allow the steel surface at a short distance 70cm

There is def CF support lah, just not printed on the device. The printed words for the specific type of media is for the smaller cards so that user can put them in accurately.

I am pretty sure this model does not have CF support. I saw it in Japan recently, too small for the CF slot.

Yeah, read the specs. No CF supported. Didn't realise it is physically THAT small. About MO-ing the item, there will be no point doing it as alot of shops are carrying elecom brand now. I saw Best Denki carrying almost the full range of mouse, some card readers and even laptop bags. Prolougue (upclass subsidiary of Popular) is carrying some of its products too.
