I want to switch around the graphic card thru bios (PCI - GFX0 - GPP - IGFX)
if i have one onboard graphic card & a dedicated graphic card to one monitor

In order not to plug in & out the dvi cable between these 2 graphic card intend to get a splitter( Y dvi cable) dvi cable one end male(to monitor) the other end 2 male split to the respective graphic card

Planning to get a Asus 785 micro board with either a Power colour 4770 or
Palit GTS 250.

Will this work ?
Is there a Y dvi cable with all male connector ?
If i switch to onboard will the dedicated graphic card consume power ?

Any one have try this pls advice ?

I am curious why you want to switch between onboard and dedicated?

ya, isn't it easier that u use the dedicated one which is better than the onboard.

the only situation when i need 2 gfx to 1 monitor is when its 2 separate coms. and i'll use a KVM.
