I think this will sweep the more than 650W market that the seasonic X-650 cannot cover currently. Hope you can keep reasonable pricing distro, although this is no doubt a premium product.

We're hoping to get it into Singapore in time for the show before the end of this month.

As for pricing, we're still talking to Scythe for a good pricing. If you guys can give us some reasonable numbers to take back to Scythe, it would be more persuasive than just us asking for a good pricing

However, bear in mind this is a very high quality product so don't expect something like S$200

1. Corsair HX850 - 7 yr wty
2. Seasonic 850W

If we're not mistaken, all consumer grade ATX PSU are manufactured either in China or Taiwan. We do have occasion acquired medical grade PSU made in Japan for clients, however the prices of those items are significantly higher than even top grade ATX PSU.

That said, the country of origin only plays a part in the quality of the product. The quality control and specifications by the factory's OEM client, Scythe in this case, is more important because that determines the quality of the final product.

As we all know, the Japanese are very particular about product quality. The fact that Scythe had won the Japan nationwide BCN award for PSU three years in a row is indicative of the kind of quality control Scythe puts on their PSU product.

We are still discussing with Scythe about the pricing so at the moment there is no firm pricing yet. As a rough guide you can consider Japan retail pricing is around S$330 to S$340 for the Energia 800.
