Less of an hassle managing a HD Media Streamer. More than 1 type available in the market, so there's a variety to choose from.

almost all these streamer uses same maiboard from sigma designs...for hassle free yes go for it...but i like my picture to be better hence HTPC..get both laorh HTPC for media room, streamer for toilet,kitchen etc

the DSM-520 is not coming to Singapore, if I am not wrong.

I gave up the idea on it because it cannto play .TS format videos. and I need ALOT ALOT ALOT of DVDs to store my videos.... unless I get a DSM-602 to accomapny it...

for htpc, with the right software, everything can watch... and 1 500GB HDD can store like 100 DVDs.... thats pretty good storage... all in 1 system...
