– The processors in this press kit are sent to you under embargo. You are requested to hold publication of Intel Core 2 Extreme and Intel Core 2 Duo processor platform benchmarks results and launch/availability information until on or after 8:00 AM Pacific Time on July 27, 2006. Contact your Intel Press Relations representative if you have questions or seek further details. Reviews of the Intel 975X Express chipset based motherboard and Intel P965 Express chipset based motherboard with currently released Intel processors are permitted without embargo.

– Both the Intel Core 2 Extreme and Intel Core 2 Duo processors will be released for sales and ads on July 27, 2006. We expect OEM systems based upon the Intel Core 2 Extreme processor to be available that same day, with systems based upon the Intel Core 2 Duo processor available within thirty days thereafter.
