I dunno about not being that diverse. Right now there are about 4 or 5 different methods being worked on and developed to handle next gen processors and beyond. I mean intel has the technology roadmapped all the way down to .045 microns in 2007.

I can't find the link, but some scientist has found how to use strands of DNA for computation. It can only do yes/no operations, but they say it's 2000 faster than any computer on earth .

to slavearm:

could you tell me about 4~5 methods?
or links?
and btw, is it meaningful ".045 microns"?, i think intel cpu can't solve the earth pollution! too mathmatic, imho.
more small and commercial, more far from us..

to zerobel.com

links about dna computer?

the basic of neuromorphic circuit
http://heim.ifi.uio.no/~hafliger/neu...c_review/vlsi/

real informations seldom appear on the internet, if the information is useful to them, they hide it from the network.

so if we visit the rle on MIT, research lab of IBM, intel, sony, secure lab of USGOV or company, the real information does NEVER appear!!

but, it is in there...
only a few good independent people resist it.
