Good Shops for Laptop Repair ffocampo Oct 18th, 06, 11:21 AM #1

Hello! I am a newbie here.

My Toshiba laptop got soaked in the rain and when I went to Toshiba center in NUS, they said i'm better off buying a new one as the motherboard is spoiled already.

Can anyone tell me how much is the usual price range if motherboard is replaced and which shops in SIm Lim or Funan do this kind of repairs?

Or is it really better if I buy an new one? cos im thinking if repair cost > $500 then might as well buy a new one...

Replies much appreciated

Thanks
