    They're not soldered on to the motherboard , it is separated chip from the mobo . slot in via a look alike mini pci slot .

    Yeah.. i didnt mean soldered on.. its something like laptop memory modules integration rather than a sata interface..

    but the main point its that its difficult to find an oem version of it.. the form factor is different from typical netbook ssd mini pcie modules which was decided by apple.. but i think u can find the oem versions on ebay (mainly from hk/china).. but i doubt performance wise it will be any better than the stock.. and not cheap too.. sometimes it could be slower due to the controller.. still cant compare with sandforce/marvell... lol..

    Heh i hope no one feels disheartened by these scores! A good PC should average under 2 mins to bootup.

    skulltre, the 2nd test, should be unzipping of Winrar file. Like a 4.37GB 720p file . or a 25GB BR file. hahahaha
