    Western Digital VelociRaptor gets refreshed with SATA 6Gbps and 32MB Cache




    Previously, only the 450GB and 600GB VelociRaptor models featured SATA 6Gbps support and 32MB of cache. Now, the 150GB and 300GB variants will also be available with the above features too.

    I can't bother with the smaller space Raptor <= 300Gb because there might be an "older" Velociraptor model.

    Price per gigabyte, the 600 Gb is a clear winner anyway.

    to raid 0 4 of them u need a raid card for 6gbs...end up more ex than raid 8 pieces of the old 3gbs.

    raid isnt confirm safe anyway


    due to ssd speeds can easily do live volume shadow copy over a few ssds
