Let's hope local distros won't make a carrot head cutting festival like 7970 did.

To cost more than UK is serious. Know anywhere that charges more for it?

Wanna do MO from newegg? Think I might be getting 3. I have friends returning from the states, but buy so many, might have problem at us customs. Plus super heavy.

Offer to pay the customs tax and any overweight charge for them?

Another thing is to tell your friends to open up and discard some of the exterior so it looks used?

    But why 3? Tri-fire?

This card will be in direct competition with the reigning 580gtx, I expect price to be slightly lower around $599 - $629.

It will be nigh impossible as the size of 1 box is quite large. Squeezing 1 into the luggage is already quite a feat.

I think tax at US, plus another back here will be tough. Might just do borderlinx and ship over.

2 to replace my 6990 in 1 rig, 1 for another.

This card beats the gtx580 by quite a long way. Anywhere from 20%-50% after OC. Can OC quite a lot too. IMO US$549 is reasonable for a new top-end tech. But when it reaches our shores it suddenly exceed well in the way of US$649? Not funny.

If can save on shipping why not. by the way, it might be cheaper just to buy from linkecomputer. They have stocks, but not listed on website. HKD 180 ship to sg.
    Latest quotes:
    Sapphire HKD $4800
    MSI HKD $4700.

If can we order in bulk can save on shipping and also get bulk discount.

    ^ MSI 3 years warranty cheaper than Sapphire's 2?

Toying with the idea. Think if i can resist backside itchy, will wait till 7950 comes out before committing. Who know can bios flash again

If can resist further wait till Nvidia release their 28nm offerings. Confirm AMD guai guai cut prices.
