Soldam built quality is perfection but their designs has not seen much innovation for the last few years. The Taiwanese companies such as Thermaltake has taken the effort to think out of the box with their Level 10 casing; though the it isn't as fantastic as promised by the functional design as marketed. My guess is that they focused too much on accessories and paint finish; such features does not play a high priority in consumers mentality when changing their PC chassis due to real estate constraints.

Additionally, given that the JPY has been on the high side for the last 5 years and its economy has been heckled by the last tsunami. It is not surprising that such product that is priced for the "privileged" be not wanted during such crucial financial times. Their business culture has partially crippled them; unwillingness to venture other foreign markets such as Singapore, USA, and Hong Kong.
