We must not forget to say that power usage is extra low. There are so many useful power options like scheduled on / off, restore after AC power loss etc. Synology did homework very well and also prepared 2.5" disk adapter. Turkish language support is an another advantage."

Most economical is to use the DLink DNS 320. Performance is so so, but price is the most affordable.

Any thing more expensive, you are better off getting a low power pc yourself.

Atleast it;s hard to justfy spending $1000 on NAS for a home network.
