I bought 1 IDE/SATA to USB2.0 cable few days ago, try to use it on an ATA133 HDD, always get this error when copying files half way.......

even i just read files from it also will see the error sometimes......

Anybody know why?

what model are you using? for the HDD case?

not case.....just a Cable Adapter....

IC... help u take note of 2 things then... cause I'm using the same stuffs as yours.

1) transfer require quite big power for data transfer.

2) Handphone signals will affect all these transfers when your handphone is near and there are signals transfering.

1) It using external power cable .... should be enough?

I will only encounter when I was chatting on my handphone when I was transfering data from SATA Hdd to my laptop. Handphone signals quite strong against the magnatic fields la.. otherwise, my transfer totally no problem actually.

Looks like this problem very challenging leh...... I just bought another set with other brand at lunch time, just want to make sure it is not the cable problem.......Sigh...
