Location: IT Show 4th Floor. Inner most left most Gain City booth for Sony TVs.
I was looking around for a really good 32" TV for use on my desktop PC. I went there to have a look at all the 32" screens. Since the price listed there usually has a stroke struck through it, I have to ask the promoters how much they are. So I consulted this guy on the models available and the pricing. After I got the price for a couple of models, I settled on the 32EX520 @ $999. Since I'm using it with a desktop and will be calibrating the monitor, I need individual RGB controls settings on the screen. He verbally confirmed that the 32EX520 has RGB controls. I asked for a remote to check the menu to confirm it as fact, rather than just sales talk. He told me that it's best to go to the main stores rather than here in ITshow to test all these things. I agree with that since usually exhibitions are quite crowded. But since I'm already here and it's the first day of the show, it should be fine yes?
He told me that he rather spend the time on other customers and clinch 4 to 5 deals than to entertain requests like that. After which he walks off to attend to a group of monks.

No names on his tag. Otherwise a very memorable guy. I was ready to take out my card to buy it liao, once confirm that there are indeed, individual RGB color controls within the menu. Too bad for him I suppose. With people like that, I can see why there are others complaining of the service standard in Singapore. I have experienced some VERY good service from others. But this one takes the cake in nearly giving me an aneurysm.
