I have experience where i bought things online which is covered by international warranty, but the service center denied me the replacement / repair as i am residing locally and have purchased the item online @ international sites. Unless if i can proof that i was residing in the country that i purchased the item from, and they will accept.
please share which brand is that? so we could all boycott them

Most manufacturers, like Crucial and Intel, accept RMA from anywhere as long as ur product is authentic
So ur point of view or experience is invalid here.

If need RMA, everyone will think of a way, including talking to the manager's manager's manager's manager's manager.

Or ask the online retailer about warranty before buying. Do the same as you would when buying from local shop.

Online retailers have lower cost, imagine running a biz from a warehouse. Orders come in online and just a few peoplen to clear the orders at their convenient time.
