Everyone jump to Orange ship, very soon over crowded, lag.. back to square..
Green and Red Ship will have slightly lesser crowd.

It's much faster compared to Starhub Maxonline.
The only con is that you need to enter your login details everytime you get online.

nice ping rates... but i think it got choked 1/2 way... either your router or your lan card. maybe the wrong modem. which modem are they giving with the 100mbps?

The no. of M1 home broadband subscribers is still many many times smaller than red and green. Their broadband revenue is very small amt.. Prob it will take a few yrs to reach similar no. of subscribers..

if they concentrate fully upon broadband, they'll die faster than pacnet. (anyone still remember them?)

they're still around, but seemingly small, cos they cannot develop their own infrastructure, forced to 'ride' on other ppl's infrastructure. No matter what, those who own the infrastructure have the final say...

Yeah M1 has no choice anyway. They are not >50% owned by Temasek unlike Singtel and Starhub, so M1 has no privilege of having the underground infrastructure given to them... That's why financial analysts are saying M1 will be the biggest beneficiary from the new fibre optics lo... But the govt's tender awarded Singtel and Starhub the rights to own the network again... How ironic..

Yup I miss pacnet. They used to be a solid consumer ISP till they focus only on business broadband now..

i think less than 2 years ba, given the fact that people might jump ship after their contracts are over.

It's TV de. If you have cable TV, then just put in a splitter at the TV-out cable pt lo. Then connect to both M1 broadband and SH Cable TV
