A well established European based Manufacturing MNC is currently looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their APAC IT Team.

Salary: $2300 to $2800
Location: Jurong
Work Days: 5 Days
Transport: Provided at Boon Lay MRT
Work Terms: Full-Time Permanent

Responsibilities:
• Oversee day to day LAN, WAN and system administration of Windows and Lotus Notes Server.
• Monitor and support the availability, throughput and utilization of communication links and equipment used in APAC.
• Provide timely helpdesk support to end-users and follow up closely where necessary.
• Liaise with vendors for support and quotation.
• Develop strategies and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) to safeguard the office computer equipment and data.
• Respond immediately when computer infrastructure and related equipments are down and work with team to bring them back to working conditions as per service level targets in DRP.
• Develop and monitor day-to-day operational procedures for system start-up/shutdown, data backup and recovery.
• Maintain and update system inventory, documents and technical specification.
• Ensure computer infrastructure and related equipment are in good working order at all times.

Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Computer Studies/IT
• At least 2 years professional experience in installing, maintaining and diagnosing failures information technology, voice and data communications or IT systems
• Knowledge in Lotus Notes, network, and infrastructure
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of software/hardware requirements, voice and data communications technologies
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (as needs to liaise with China counterparts)
• Singaporean and PR only
