[READ FIRST!] Starting MOs, Fakes, Imitation and Scams - VRForums - SITEX 2009

Hi All,

It seems that our forum's Mass Order Section is becoming more popular lately. And as this place gets more popular I am sure we will face more and more scam and such.

For all MO to be approved this is what is required
- Send us your ID details and verify it @ VR office.
- Start a Thread in MO section and PM me

I will then review the product and see if the product is good for MO. There is no fixed criteria because it is just not that easy to really put a yes or no. At times I will give the thread starter a warning that some items are not good to MO. OR if the item is already selling in Singapore and the difference is not that big. Paying like S$15~30(depending on price of product) more for an item with local warranty is actually ok.

I would like to point out a few things that I am concerned with now...
Fakes and Imitations:
- Memory Cards,
- Watches
- Bags
- Other items that easily pirated/imitated

So.... to all thread starters/MO starters note
- If you cannot confirm the originality of the product YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT CLEAR IN THE BEGINING OF THE MO THREAD
- If your supplier scams you, you ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE for the SCAM. Since we only have your details. YOU ALONE WILL HAVE TO BEAR THE COST. A police report will be made.
- If you are doing it as a online sale person, please have some decency to pay for some VR classified services as VR server costs are not cheap.

To all MO participants:
- All MOs involve some degree of risk.
- VR can only help by controlling the MO starter or rather the peson who comes to verify the ID to start the MO.
- Agree with the price when you confirm your order. Any price in favour to MO starter is his benefit. you should be getting a better deal in general but this is not always the case so do your homework first.

You have to verify your details at vr office.

Kindly bring a photocopy of your NRIC and a copy of your real NRIC, bring it to our office personally
