i am more concern about the music sound quality.
I already have good earphones to use with.
How is this compared to those i-tech one with oled?

5 of 5 Great product! Wednesday, June 17, 2009
breezdee from Miami, Florida

I love this bluetooth. I can use it with my bose earphones.

5 of 5 More than expected!!! Friday, June 12, 2009
Robert from Buffalo, NY

I purchased this to work in conjunction with my music player on my LGEnv2 becaus I wanted to have more volume control (EnV2 was too loud on the minimum setting). It works outstanding! As an added bonus, I can use it to transmit through an FM car adapter, and have my car stereo as my hands free device. I am really pleased. Battery life is good (it actually got better with use).

5 of 5 Great Headset, Great Price Monday, April 06, 2009
Joel from Modesto, CA

I really like this headset. It works great. The sound from the included headphones was fine, but I ended up purchasing another pair of headphones to plug into it. The mic is in the unit itself, so any headphones will work with it. I plan on using it in my car, by plugging it into my casette tape adapter. Overall, I'm very happy with the product.

5 of 5 Excellent product Sunday, March 29, 2009
A Customer from springfield, mo

Great sound, ability to use my own hi-quality headphones, great distance from the phone.

4 of 5 Great A2DP wireless stereo headset Sunday, March 29, 2009
JonD from San Diego, CA

I had been looking for a while for a headset device to use with my Blackberry 8320 Curve. I really liked the idea of being able to use my own earphones / headphones. I had read some negative reviews about volume and sound quality, so I was a little nervous, but I was really impressed with the performance when I tried it with my Blackberry. I did not even bother trying the earphones supplied with the device. I prefer the earbud type - as they usually give better insulation against external sound as well as better quality and volume. So sound quality / volume / battery life are all fine with me. Blackberry users should watch out though. My 8320 has the latest firmware (at April 2009) and although the phone will play MP3 files through the A2DP device just fine, the Video Player does NOT allow selection of A2DP for audio output. As far as I can see this is a 'bug' or 'omission' in the Blackberry and I hope it will get fixed soon!!

5 of 5 Great Headset Saturday, March 28, 2009
A Customer from Gaithersburg Md

Bought this cos I was having problems with my plantronics 260 pairing with my phone and bad stereo sound, This headset is great paired with phone and laptop and great stereo sound rivaling wired headsets.

3 of 5 Good reception, if you're very close. Saturday, March 28, 2009
JF from Gurnee, IL

I'm using this product as a Bluetooth connection between a television using a Sony TMR-BT10 (Bluetooth wireless audio transmitter) and gym equipment (approx. 5-6 ft. away). Now, it's very important to understand that these two pieces of equipment must work in marriage to get a clear connection; so, I couldn't tell you which one is performing at its peak. But, I can tell you that it's often choppy audio (muting for periods at a time) and not always completely in-synch with the picture (a split second off). All this said, when I place the receiver piece on the gym equipment display, I get pretty good reception. For me, that's the sole purpose of it. If you're using this in close quarters (MP3 to headset; phone to headset), you'll be very happy. Also, I love the fact that I can use any headphones.

3 of 5 Sound Quality 'Adequate' Wednesday, January 30, 2008
A Customer from Las Vegas Nevada

At first I thought the sound quality was ok but after listening with it for awhile I have decided the quality loss wasn't worth the benefit of not being tethered to my AT&T Tilt.
The highs are easily distorted when they are crisp and clean using the same player, same MP3, same ear buds, directly wired. The lows are a bit distorted but I could live with that. The overall volume is much lower but I found that 'adequate' when maxing out the device and the Tritton at the same time. Lower volume is probably a good thing because any louder and it would distort to the point of unusable.
Pairing was frustrating. Many days I had to pair it as if it was never paired before. The documentation doesn't tell you but for the AT&T Tilt you need to pair it twice, once for the phone and once for music. Some days it just forgot it paired with the music before and I couldn't repair it other than deleting the device from my phone and starting over.
The charging plug barely fits and every time I plugged it in I had to force it to the point I thought I was going to break it.
Microwave ovens interrupt Bluetooth, not Tritton's fault, but there it is.
So volume, pairing (and staying paired) and sound quality are issues. I only tried to answer my phone a couple of times with the device active and I was never able to hear anyone. I did not play with that facet enough to know whether it was my phone, me, or Tritton.

4 of 5 Does not live up to price Wednesday, January 02, 2008
Photon from New Mexico

This unit connects well however is difficult to use with just three buttons. Sound quality is good but is not able to go very loud. This may get addressed in future software releases. Other than the steep price, not a bad unit considering you can use your favorite ear phones with it....

5 of 5 I Agree . . . Mostly Monday, December 31, 2007
Floyd from Washington DC

I definitely agree with everyone's comments. Great sound, ability to use my own hi-quality headphones, great distance from the phone. My only issue is that it won't reconnect automatically to the PDA (HTC Advantage) -- it could be the PDA, but I also tried with my tablet (IBM X60), and it won't reconnect automatically either. No biggie to reconnect it each time I turn it on, but just be aware.

5 of 5 Wireless listening while skiing Sunday, December 02, 2007
Richard Engelmann from Boulder, CO

I wanted to reduce the wire clutter on my helmet (I also ski with a video camera and stereo microphones). The Tritton clips to the chin strap on my helmet, and I use a short cable with a 3.5 mm plug to link to my helmet headset. It works great! Operation of the buttons sometimes requires that I remove my glove. I can also us the 3.5 mm plug to link to my car stereo via auxilliary input, and to my home stereo, too. Very convenient.

5 of 5 Excellent product Friday, November 30, 2007
A Customer from Texas

Very pleased with this product. I bought it for use with an MP3 player. Sound quality is excellent!

5 of 5 Excellent Sound Quality Sunday, November 18, 2007
Pete from Vancouver, WA

I am utterly impressed with the sound quality of this product. I was able to pair the device with my PPC Phone, Laptop, and home computers with ease. This is my first purchase from Tritton and I AM IMPRESSED!!!

5 of 5 Great product Monday, November 12, 2007
dx2 from Indiana

Only downside is the headsets they include are "ok", upgrade to something higher end and you get awesome sound quality. Voice quality is very good nobody even notices I'm using a BT headset. Using a Sony W580i works great.

5 of 5 Worth twice the price!!! Friday, November 09, 2007
Gene from Bellevue, WA

Better than I hoped for... charged it up and followed the directions to match it to my V3xx Moto. Connected up quickly and recognized both phone calls and music. Good stereo separation and reception...no static. I was worried because I could not find any reviews on the unit so I went on faith and their website. Charges off of a USB cable on your computer or a separate 110v plug. Both come with the unit, as well as a pair of earbuds. Good sound out of the mic on phone calls... I just clipped to my shirt pocket.
For the i.Tech bluetooth, I believe you are talking about the i.Tech Clip D-Radio. If you seen this in Singapore, they are selling for S$100+, for specs wise I have to look further.

Hope this is useful

TO max007007 again:I check the i.Tech Clip D-Radio out already. The difference,

i.Tech Clip D-Radio
- Uses Bluetooth v2.1 +EDR (Tritton uses Bluetooth v2.0; Currently there are already Bluetooth v3.0 and Bluetooth low energy. Visit wiki for more information.)
- Has in-built FM radio functions
- Has 3 different colours (Orange, green and grey. Tritton has one, black.)
- iTech Mobile sells $105 (It says usual price $169. Link)

Other than that, they are almost similar in terms of size, weight and other.
