For the uninitiated, the buckling spring mechanism is the technology behind the original IBM Model M keyboard. Having tried (and am still using) mechanical keyboards like Filco and Steelseries, my view is that the buckling spring keyboard offers a better tactile feel. Some users however think that the keyboard is too stiff, and the click-clack sound of the buckling spring mechanism is too loud. But those who spend a lot of time on keyboards would probably appreciate the tactile feedback of the keys.
The patent for the buckling spring mechanism is now held by Unicomp. Fortunately for some of us, Unicomp is still making buckling spring keyboards.

The main stumbling block for ordering 1 unit direct is the cost of shipping. It is estimated that the shipping cost is USD50.00 if you order just one unit. Given that a keyboard like the Customizer 104/105 cost USD69.00, the shipping cost is almost as costly as the keyboard.
The purpose of this MO is to place a larger order so that the shipping cost is lower. I'm targeting to have an order of 10 units, which will bring the shipping cost down to about USD32.50.
If you are interested in this MO, please leave your name here. I'll let this MO run for about 1 to 2 weeks. At 5 units, the shipping cost is about USD35 each.
Please also indicate the model that you are interested in. I would suggest the Customizer 104/105, since this is the standard keyboard layout. Hopefully, the company also allows for different models to make up the 5 or 10 units of mass order.
