Hello all,

This happened a few months ago thought i should warn people. I was with a group of friends at coffee bean and we were sitting near the railings at the open air area. This young looking chap in his twenties approached our table offering us serviettes which he put on the table. We were pretty stunned because he was obviously not coffee bean staff (I thought he was mad). In addition, there were a few mobile phones on the table. Suddenly he tried to snatch a few phones and he managed to only grab my iphone. Loud shrieks followed and a few people gave chase but to no avail. He ran across to Carnhill Carpark and disappeared thereafter.

The thing is he was wearing two t-shirts so he obviously was waiting at coffee bean to strike. He probably took off his outer tshirt after the act. I'm not sure if this fellow has tried to strike again but the police are investigating. I have since learnt my lesson! Do not leave your mobile phones on the table especially if you are in an open area!

one of the reasons why people should depreciate iPhone non-contract price. It makes it a good target for robbers now.
