Does any1 know any other software besides microsoft outlook to sync contacts, calendar etc. on win xp with windows mobile phone?? Cuz i find it the sync between outlook 2007 and the phone a bit... confusing...

ok basically i wanna edit reorganize contacts using outlook and sync the changes to the phone. Same goes for calendar add appts all that using outlook and sync it to the phone. But after that, when i use activesync to sync, i see no changes to that in my phone. Anything i did wrong??

for the appointments, did you set the activesync to just sync the 2 weeks worth of appointments? if it is, then u might not be able to see changes to past or future appointments...

for contacts wise, there shouldn't be a problem... is there only one user for your outlook?

Yes only 1 user for outlook. Ok for now the calendar thing seems to work... it get synced. But changes made to my contacts in outlook do not seem to get synced to the phone.

Basically like renaming, adding home, mobile, business phone numbers
they just dont get synced to the phone

one more thing... did u do the contact changes to your phone or your outlook 2007? and are the contacts in the phone stored in SIM or phone memory?

Using activesync 4.5 with HTC snap on windows mobile 6.5.

Did contact changes in Outlook 2007, want it to be replicated in the phone. Phone contacts duplicated on both sim card and phone memory.

So just want to ensure that changes i made in outlook 2007 are updated to the phone after the sync.

But also kind of looking for other software that is a bit more user friendly and more simple to use.

hmmm... kinda strange... can't help you out on this one... best to seek one who is also using HTC snap... sorry...
