There's a GSM version coming out which has Multi-touch but has a 8GB preinstalled card instead of the 16GB in the U.S. It's called the Motorola Milestone. I believe they're launching it in Germany first.

Motorola Milestone - Telefone für Social Networking - Motorola Deutschland
CPU: C2Q Q6600 G0 2.4GHz w/ Zalman 9500 AT - Mainboard: Asus P4K Deluxe - Memory: Kingston HyperX 800MHz 4GB - Graphics: Leadtek 8500GT 256MB - HDD: Hitachi 500 GB x02 - Optical: Asus Lightscribe DVD Writer - Case: Antec P182 - Power Supply: Antec Truepower Quattro 850W - Display: Benq FP937F

The SE droid looks great. Just need to wait.

All the Android handsets available are multi-touch capable at hardware level. With 2.0, multi-touch will be available at kernel level. It is a different matter altogether whether the applications implement the gestures. I'm pinch-zooming on a Dream/G1 actually even though I prefer double-tap for one-handed browsing.

Milestone/Droid/whatever-the-name-is had better be cheap here when it hits the shores. 9 months left till I can get a new phone. =D
