Hey guys, I'm looking for a portable keyboard (61/76 keys) that has transpose function, string ensemble effect, and can be plugged into an amp...under $1000 range. Brand does not matter.

Anyone has any suggestions to give please?

I would suggest you try http://www.yamaha.com.sg/750.html
Yamaha PSR-S500.

Currently, I am using the very old model about 5-6 years back...Yamaha PSR 1100 I think...And this keyboard is still workable for so many years.

BUt if you have more money to spend - I recommend Roland brands..but usually lesser effects.
