caught the movie yesterday....

it was unique. Main actor was unique.
story line was interesting. (not that original but it was nice to see a movie adaption of it)

4 (high for being different and unique)

R for violence.

3 Years.

Went to catch this movie. Dont really like the pace of the movie and the story plot is rather poor.

Ill give 2/5 for this movie.

the movie was based on what actually happened there during the apartheid era.

It was called District 6.

District Six, Cape Town - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They could have made a serious film but nobody was interested in history, especially south africian history. So in order to get an international appeal and audience, the director hid it under the guise of scifi.

Great movie. Classic Sci-fi story. 4 stars out of 5.

Now idea.... when are they going to create a Battletech movie?

last I heard BT was in legal nightmare. When FASA when kaput, rights for it went to the "Poker card" company(Monkeys of the Coast).

It now seems BT wasn't completely sold off. Lawyer pop out here, lawyer take cover there than suddenly MS lawyers come charging in... whole thing is a mess of lawyers.

god knows how long it will take for em to sort things out.

nice movie. watched it yst at cine. Think there will be a part 2... as the Christopher haven't come back to save the "prawn" yet lol... like the robot prawn and the electric gun... shoot and "boom" and u turn into liquid haha. BTW y are they call prawn, they dun look like prawn to me lol... and how they understand each other language?? sry missed the front part of the movie.
