I don't think i've ever posted here, so well yeah count me in

I've been on and off with the guitar..last break was around 2 years. i play drums, keyboard/piano (hantam only, make up tunes spontaneously) and looking to learn violin, or get a BOWED GUITAR! These things are cool man..Oh yeah since I''m into Folk, i want to be able to play the flute but i guess that will never happen.

http://www.togamanguitars.com/
http://www.bowedguitar.com/

Prices start from US$2000++ Maybe I'll get a normal violin and fret it, but who has the skill here locally? Beez (ex G77, Ebenex) may be able to but can't catch him around these days. Alot of you ask why nobody plays the bass, but i think all guitarists are able to play simple bass. I love slapping, can't sweep though (damn fat strings and wide fret spacing!)..

Gear you ask? No fancy stuff..Just a modded Jackson with HAS pickups, www.has-sound.com (these things kick DiMarzio and SD's asses!) and HAS tonepots. I might get a 27-fret neck if someone is able to do it. People ask me why I don't invest in a new guitar, well I have an attachment to my first 2 guitars (actually i'm just prone to sentimental attachments). The other is the older one, a samick. It sounds like a telecaster now with added noise, maybe from gaining age? LOL, serious! Sent it for servicing as my Jackson baby needs a new FL bridge (i'm fed up with the tune running away).

I'm not an efx person, so I still have my old Zoom 707. Looking to get a modded DS-1, a bypass pedal, a booster and that would suffice. Maybe also a Michael Angelo Batio overdrive which will set me back around SGD300+, yarghh! Performances? Not many, here and there but locally only, not experienced enough also. Started out with yeah, Punk music but more of Grunge rather than modern Punk Rock. This year I'm 18, so hopefully I'm still young (sometimes it irritates me to see the younger kids being so amazing). No fixed band also, the last was 2 years ago in a funny prata flopamanga band.

Recent hoot would be an Ibanex ToneBlaster X30R from Swee Lee mid-year Saturday sale. I love it! Anyway I play Metal, mostly Folk, Viking, Brutal and Death. Und Quo Vadis ist mein uber favourite band. Currently getting the hang of Blues and Jazz (did i mention Techno and Trance too?). I'm also a spontaneous player, meaning i'm not so into covers (but ofcourse I'd love to cover the above band and a few others if i can find a drummer who does 32nd notes and plays Jazz at the same time). Check out www.yanicbercier.com to see if you qualify. Oops, kidding.

If you ist a keyboardist/pianist/drummer/vocalist/violinist/bagpiper/joiker und willing to session with me, PLEASE PM!

edit: oops, read first post and it looks like i'm way off format. too long liao to "re-format", forgive me folks!
