Way Of The Dragon: From a distance - 20 paddlers move in perfect rhythm to a muted drum beat, gracefully skimming the water's surface. Up close - determined grunts and strained sinews with oars in grip, dig vigorously into the water. The majestic head of the dragon fronts this contraption but the real heart lies just behind it, at the apex of the bow. Like a conductor of an orchestra, the drummer leads his crew with the calculated beat of his drum. Such is the realm of dragon boating.

it's true wat the pple say: these days, the NS soldier is very scared of rules and will follow; last time, the old hokkien peng dun care means dun care, go DB also like that.

in the old days, if u got caught with batteries labelled SAF, u might actually get into trouble. ur lightsticks got SAF labelled on them? no, right? lol.

just make sure u got no CE items like antenna or rounds!

seriously

my commander last time de is those officer in charge of pleading for people going into DB one.

he told us (my platoon) alot of stories already

Going into DB=lots of paperwork and involves lots of high ranking officers for thier statement and investigation.

1)the RP might really be scaring you only

2)lightsticks are expandable items...the CQ might not even care(or don't even know)his light sticks are gone?!(i got a CQ friend,he v slack 1...almost all are slackers except for warrants)

3)are you some CBK? do your company have alot of people disliking you?
if your co/oc is someone who dislike you then you might be in serious trouble...really...dun ever play play with co/oc's/company commander/rsm's...

4)i think from whatever information you provided so far, they can only charge you for stealing. If they go to the extreme and activate every CQ inside the camp to stock take thier light sticks in recent weeks, only then you might be in trouble.(this also requires lots of work, only some1 big enough like a LFTCOL can do this bah...i think?)

5)check that exact lightstick, can it be bought at beachroad?if can, stick to ur story of having it bought at there.cover ur ass already...

charge by ST, unit CO level. Charge by CM, battalion level, go kranji camp.

what they need is proof, but bearing in mind that by then, everyone might already have the impression that a crime, indeed, has been committed and might 'try' to help by facilitating discovery of evidence...

lightstick? think the RP must be bored, unless you had like 5 boxes of each colour or sth =D
dun worry lah a lot of things get filtered off at each level. RP report to MP, MP report to RSM, RSM report to coy CSMs etcetc.... just to trace where the lightsticks came from?
