Hi All..

I am looking for all of my future BMT brothers in here who will be enlisting with the SAF on 11-Sep-2009 and who will be required to report at BASIC MILITARY TRAINING CENTRE SCHOOL 1.. Thanks a lot and really hoping to know all of you before the actual date commence.

will i be in the same bunk with my fren if both of us was enlisted on the same day and same school?

how many company will there b in a school? and how many ppl under a company? lolx

im sorry if unable to ans ur 1st question, but for ur 2nd and 3rd question, guess I cld help abit from the information which have been found.. anyway, in a school, the respective company are as follows:

BMTC School 1

* Apache
* Bronco
* Cougar
* Dragon
* Eagle
* Falcon
* Gryphon
* Hawk
* Jaguar
* Kestrel
* Quebec
* Yankee
* Zulu


BMTC School 2

* Leopard
* Mohawk
* Ninja
* Orion
* Pegasus
* Raven
* Scorpion
* Taurus
* Ulysses
* Viper
* Whiskey


And if I nt wrong, in one company maybe arh gt abt 200 soldiers? may only.. not sure this one correct nt.. hahaha

waaa....lol...get ready for a drastic change in your life. Ok, i was totally unprepared mentally for what was to come so I had a freakin hard time adapting especially during the first few weeks. I still have a year and a couple of weeks left to serve...man...

anyway, wish u all the best, and if u can take crazy pressure, go to ocs, i think its a good "investment" for your ns life to go there if u can take it.

Hmm for 1st qns u see lor...if the timing to report is the same means most probably same company but same platoon and same bunk may not be the case. One Company in BMT normally got 4 platoons lor. And one platoon usually about say about close to 30-40 ppl excluding the PCs nad Sgts etc. But i guess it will be even number cos they wan to have the buddy system.

thanks a million and many thanks for the motivation.. really appreciate it.. certainly, will try to work hard attain the ocs status if possible.. anyway, u in which unit? and hws the welfare been in SAF so far? I heard its getting better and better as compared to the past rite bro?
