Hi guys, would like to ask something.

If a servicemen went thru minor surgery will he be excused from ippt?
Because i'm a PES A soldier so every yr nids to take ippt. But during march 09 i went thru a minor surgery to remove an abscess that grown on my left chest. Its 4 cm x 2 cm long. After the surgery, the wound is like 1 hole that is not stitched up, constant bleeding too. But now after 5 months i am still undergoing weekly dressing and the surface just does not want to heal up. Meaning its still raw skin that will still bleed during dressing. Can i ask for exemption from ippt or have to take? Right now what's preventing mine promotion from CPL to 3SG is this ippt... i ord-ing this december. Sigh..

Best is check it out with the MO. Wouldn't want to further aggravate the wound for life just to get a 3SG rank right?
