I recently fractured my right wrist. Currently on MC for 5 days. Have to see the specialist next week. I want to know if any other bros here have gone thru this state. What is the best case scenario and worst case scenario because I'm still in BMT and i die die don't want to OOT and than come back for BMT again. Some more i have gone thru 4 months of BMT already. 2 more months to POP. And this is my first time attn c and sitting down at home like this Feels like shit!

Best case, downgrade then become clerk or storeman. Worst case is don't downgrade, continue recourse, then go to combat unit.

And how come your BMT is so long? Obese batch? I always thought BMT at most 3 months then complete.

I had an ex-colleague who was worse off. He was OCT already pro-term then broke his wrist and had to downgrade and become 3rd sergeant.

Yes i am in the obese batch. 6 months bmt. Hope the best will turn out when i go see my specialist...

i heard as long you pass those critical stuff like range, field camp...

you are not require to recourse

ippt not a must, cos unit still need to take..

Aiya, no choice one, not like your fractured wrist can recover overnight or that you can fake not injured (like maybe flu or cough can just bite your teeth and chiong). Just take what that comes lor.

Then hopefully you recover in time to join some other company for field camp lor, if not duno they will let you pass or not.

anyway, just take what it comes ba...like wad telefone said, u cant really hide from the fact that u really got injured...and if its really fractured most likely u will get pes C2, temp or perm i'm not too sure...and also, heard dat BMT recourse isnt as xiong as the normal BMT and also most likely u will b goin for PES C recourse...

Route march is only a requirement if you want to do the march in to POP parade. During my time all those who had statuses or fell out and didn't complete the 24km route march had to wait at the back to join the POP parade and couldn't do the march into the parade square. But apart from the pride stuff they were still allowed to pass out.

And if you fail IPPT unless it's some minor station which your PC allow you to passout with conditional pass otherwise it would be recourse for you. But I think for obese BMT IPPT pass is not a requirement. Otherwise the other major stuff like range, field camp, SOC, BIC, hand grenade, swimming, SIT test, trench digging, etc all count towards your final BMT score. Fail too many and it's a recourse for you. Ace it all and you will go to SISPEC or OCS. I passed almost everything including IPPT with gold and SOC with a good timing, but I purposely AWOL from swimming since I can't pass otherwise my PC said I sure enter OCS due to my high BMT score.
