C1L1 is as good as PES B.

Signal operator means you prolly need to go for course at sch signals. You will be the man with the radio set, in addition to all the other gear.

one word of advice ... NEVER EVER jump with the signal set when you carry it on your back ...

if u have every tried before, u'll know why. and it differs from one model of manpack set to another. the super old type, u jump from a short ledge down will usually make u fall backwards or foreward due to the weight. or if u have good balance, u damage your knees.

And if you never tie the pack down properly it will clobber the base of your skull just under the helmet. Or come off the harness and smash a foot.

Don't worry. The microsurgeons will try their best to save your foot. At SAF expense too.
