LAN-1 : 192.xxx.xxx.xxx
LAN-2 : 172.xxx.xxx.xxx

How do u restrict afew selected specific services and application to run on 172.xxx.xxx.xxx whereas the rest of the services and application runs on 192.xxx.xxx.xxx

Anyone with a clue?

that is to be done in the console in the router of each individual lan

Ok finally get to rework on this issue again...

I have no firewall and no router...

basically its a private server for development.

Its running SAP Instances...

I still see some services like sapgwd01 open a port on the wrong IP network...

Specifically I just want all applcation's services to start only on one Specific IP address.

Any Guru to help me?

tot this should be on the server side and not the router side wor.

I have 2 lans on a server with Static IP, 172.xxx.xxx.xxx and the other 192.xxx.xxx.xxx

I try to config it on server side... but when I start SAP server in the windows console in that server, it starts SAP service on 172 and 192... which should only be on 172 only...

hmm check out router access list wor...
and then check out which port the SAP service runs at.
then at the router console then deny the service at which the range of ip is at ba...
cant really rem now wor...
got to go find my books haha...
just nice to prepare for CCNA haha

Isn't it in the software config side to configure binding?
