Hi Gurus,

Need some help here.
I have a 2Wire 1800 ADSL modem cum wireless router and just got a voice modem from Starhub

Have heard from ppl that we can use 2Wire router wireless function for MOL.
Searched VR-Zone for the configuration but to no avail.

Could any kind souls kindly lead me to the thread or post the configuration in this thread?

1) turn of the 2wire dhcp
2) set the 2wire ip address within the same subnet as your gateway router ie: 192.168.1.X >X must be unique from the gateway router
3) reboot or power cycle the 2wire
4) conect a cable to the gateway lanport n the 2 wire lan port

-> Had manually configure and was ask to enter IP (192.168.1.1)and subnet (255.255.255.0). Did not tick the chkbox which says "enable DHCP"

-> din realy did this step (cos unsure and duno)

-> Connected SH Voice modem to lanport 1 of 2Wire

done

Outcome -> Able to allow only one machine to connect to 2Wire at any one time. Tried using lanport 2 on 2WIRE to connect to desktop but to no avail. Currently unable to enter settings of 2WIRE anymore. IPCONFIG on connected machine shows SH IP 58.182.x.x.
