Any idea how much will be the cost for installing another cablepoint for starhub internet and tv? Just called starhub but the officer advice to get external contractor. If you have another contractor please pm me. Thxs.

y they did that...? they supposed to advise not to get outside ones coz outside cons dun haf the proper tools...and if u got future issues and the technician come down and it's not starhub approved point, they wun service for u..

If you know what you're doing, it's as cheap as the cost of the materials. $40 bucks will be more then enough.

I am not too sure, but the guy in the phone told me they engage 3rd party contractor, if i wan i can contact outside contractor to get cheaper price

kinda.. well unless you get high grade looooong cables and link it from one point to your location...like your room.. then do some nice management if your bringin the cable indoors... if you can pass it through outside.. then the cables are hidden! just make sure they dont get wet during rain...

Starhub charge $100 for 1 pt plus Transport $30 and gst
additional pt add $100 for each pt

Done by Starhub.

Or, buy a long cable yourself. The only important thing to note is, the end must be factory terminated end, else, loss of signal.

yes but they'll recommend u to get y0urs done by star ....couldn't be the other way round..?

i also recommend get it done by starhub...anything can refer back to them...their cable pt have 1 yr warranty @ $136.50 which is like betta said... $100 + 30 x 1.05
