i m using netgear WGR614 v3.

on port forwarding web site, i couldn't find that model.
but on my router, there is a 'port forwarding/port triggering' utility.

so i just try on my own n put the port number to forward on the router.
my desktop is 192.168.0.2.

i m using utorrent. i tried setting static ip on my desktop n when i click on the utorrent button to check if port is forwarded.
its unsuccessful.

The 'Enable UPnP box' on utorrent is unchecked.
n i have stopped windows firewall on the 'services' under 'control panel' in 'administrative tools'.

i have no other application for firewalls but only norton antivirus. but i don think that is an issue.

there is other version from that web. maybe u can take a look too as the interface might be the same.

iszit nesscary that if port forward mus off uPnp on the utorrent n on the router?
