The Wi-Fi Alliance today unveiled a re-designed consumer logo for Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 802.11n Draft 2.0 products, and announced the products and reference designs that will make up its test bed for interoperability certification. New Wi-Fi LogoRouter and CardBus reference designs from Atheros, Broadcom, Intel, Marvell and Ralink are used in the interoperability test bed, and are the first devices to become Wi-Fi CERTIFIED. Cisco also has an Access Point design in the test bed and WildPackets OmniPeek Workgroup Pro is included as a test bed software tool. The Alliance said that it is still on track for a "late June" launch of its certification program. |
