i tried it on my u torrent...does not seem to make a difference leh...

now my speeds abt 60-90+kb/s in day...

past midnight then increase to btw 160-180kb/s for 1500 connection...

works for me... from a measy 30k all the way to 335k which is the max for my connection.

I've been reading up a lot on this 'miracle cure' patch and aside from the positive feedback it's been getting by the general public, i also came across this thread which argues that the patch is unnecessary for most people:

it does at least show another side to the story.

In any case, and i quote from the thread, "Everyone has different opinions on the TCP/IP patch. If someone wants to use it, then let them. It's up to the user to decide what to do. If the user thinks their connection has improved with the patch, then let them think that."

For me, no diff cause I'm limited to 512K and am already getting the max

Click cancel when they ask for your cd to 'repair' back the modified file. Not suppose to. Did you read the instructions?
