starhub vs singtel asdfg Nov 13th, 07, 01:49 PM #1

Hi im currently on starhub maxonline express 6000 and thinking of an upgrade. what do u guys recommend? i basically use the net for surfing, dl and games like cs/wc3.
and whats the diff between singtel's 6mbps and starhub's maxonline express? which is faster? some promotions come with the mio tv/cable tv thing too. which is better? the singtel 3mbps promotion with ipod touch is very tempting lol

Hello,

I just want to say that Singtel is very good at marketing to you but at the end of the day, they fail badly in retaining their customers.
Starhub has a better integrated services compared to Singtel.
I am personally very disappointed at Singtel and will suggest considering alternatives.
After speaking with the Singtel Customer Service people, and with their nonchalant attitude, I can vomit blood.

For your consideration

Eer dun think about miotv or iptv. I asked a friendly CS technician (lucky for me) and he said that the miotv is a new thing, so expect quite alot of problems. He also advised me to maybe subscribe after a long time for it to stabilise

LOL,
Customer Service Officers Does not Know All the things. Be it technical supports to enquiry.
They are given "Only Need to Know" knowledge to help the Customers.
Their are people too.
I Too complain to the Singtel Wiressless@SG Customer Service Officers,
about the Wireeless@sg Router is down (not AP, It's the router) for past 2weeks.
And I not the only 1 complain tooo (I know my wireless network stuff).
After some qus from the CSO, they call me back with a Proper Ans.
I accept the ans like and I apologize back for been rude. The next few day the engineers came down and replace a new router.

The thing to this long Old man story is that CSO does not Know All the things.
They are given training on "Only Need to Know" knowledge. So didn't scold or place all the blames on them

I just checked that Singnet is having a promo on thier 10mbp plan by giving a Dell notebook.

http://www.singnet.com.sg/plans_and_...sp?snbb=10Matl

Abit not worth it though ._. But I have friends complaining about Starhub being laggy more than Singnet now... So I wouldnt consider switching yet =/
