I just bought a WRT300N and am gonna retire my WRT54G.
I was thinking if it's possible to config my WRT54G into a wireless hub/access point?

Eg.
- = physical line
~ = wireless links

Modem -> WRT300N -> hub -> WRT54G ~ computers

Thinking of doing this mainly because my WRT300N is at one end of the flat, and some laptops are at another end of the flat. Signal sometimes low, sometimes non-existent. If this could be done, I'm guessing signals will be improved much better at the further end of the flat.

Maybe u can flash your WRT54G to dd-wrt or tomato and use it as a wireless bridge.
