Need help opening ports galaa2 Aug 22nd, 05, 12:01 PM #1

Hi. I just upgraded my SNBB from 3500 to 10meg and as such am using a new router modem.

I used to host Teamspeak server and understand how to on off ports in my old modem. However this new modem's configuration page is different as such hope to find some help here.

I need to open 2 TCP and 2 UDP Ports. I set the protocal and port range correctly for the 4 ports. However there's something new in the modem's configuration which isnt in my old modem. The "translate to", Trigger protocol" and "Trigger port". I left those blank (but translate to is automatically filled as the ports I opened)

After setting the ports i assigned it to my PC that I use to host but I still cant connect into it. Can anyone help pls. Thanks alot!

this is how my configuration looks like

I tried hosting games with Warcraft 3. When I don open any ports I cant host, so I opened the WC3 ports and am able to host games. So this means modem's port forwarding is working.

However. I notice Warcraft 3 opens TCP ports, whereas my Teamspeak needs to open UDP ports.

Maybe ST585 have problems opening UDPs?
