Singnet Mio modem replacement. Xavior Oct 2nd, 08, 11:02 AM #1

Hi guys,

I'm on singnet MIO plan with MIO TV included.
I'd like to replace the modem but still be able to view MIO TV.

I've tested it out with SMC modem router but it does not work.
Any other modem/routers that will enable me to not use the 2wire modem?

Thanks in advance.

X

I remember calling up singnet and ask bout what can support mio tv.
Coz that time my mio box broke down. They told me currently mio tv support only the 2wire modem and certain thomson speedstream modem.
Cant remember exactly which model of the thomson speedstream thou.
You can call up mio hotline to ask.

Why do you need last router before mio? You can do without it...

err...abit don catch u.

but becos miotv itself wont able to dialup itself as the device i tink got to be connected to internet network so need a router to do so. y i don directly connect my com to the mio router(which is connected to internet) becos the performance is not as gd as using com to manage(dialup). so might as well i use my com to control all those stuff(on router), rather than going into the router admin to access n make setting.

tats y i'm usin a switch to connect all the com n others together(act as a bridge), than router itself only manage miotv.
